I always start off with helping you set your goals, sustained by your whys.

I thoroughly assess your needs, evaluate the existing knowledge and skills, and build on your resources. I support you with tailored hands-on training, coaching and consulting, providing only what adds value.

My goal is to increase your drive, your creativity, your endurance, your success and, most importantly, your wellbeing. You focus on what really counts, so that you do not waste resources of any kind.

I will support you to achieve your goals, react quickly and with flexibility to changes with the smallest possible effort, and meet challenges with expertise and enthusiasm.

Success must go hand in hand with happiness and satisfaction.

Otherwise what success would it be?

Change is the Only Constant.

Change occurs every single moment. Whether you are the driver of change or not.
Change is an essential part of our existence and evolution. However, how we face change makes a huge difference in terms of competitiveness, success and revenue, not to mention quality of life and wellbeing.

Our Mindset is the Game Changer.

Once we are aware that change cannot be avoided, it makes sense to be an active part of it, instead of suffering from it. Instead of focusing on the ‘deficit’, on what we do not have or know, on what we have never done, or what we have never learned, it is much more helpful to take stock of what is available, and what we can build on.

We are often not aware of the resources, or even treasures at hand, and even less on how they can be employed in a totally new and innovative way. That is also why it is important to work across disciplines, with experts from different fields as well as ‘non experts’.

People and Diversity Are an infinite Source of inspiration!

I am always driven by curiosity and open to new ideas. Over decades of international experience, I have learned to grow beyond boundaries that seem insurmountable limitations at first sight.

My mission is to build bridges and connect apparent opposites: between experience and curiosity, people and technology, tradition and innovation, and continuity and change.

I am committed to improving in every way, every day. Continuity, along with meaningful change, makes change management easier and increases buy-in among all stakeholders, all the more so if they are asked to play an active role and contribute to change.

This can be a very exciting and inspiring way to face changes and even disruptions successfully.

As Diverse as the People and the World We Live In

Learning is an infinite experience.
LearnInProgress® makes it a superpower!

Learning is an active and creative process, as well as an investment in personal growth and development.

Based on my firm conviction that learning how to learn is a high-return investment, I have developed LearnInProgress® at the University of Bologna, Italy, to offer adult learners tools to improve their learning skills and  learn into a joyful and exciting experience.

LearnInProgress® is a learner centered methodology that values the person and the existing knowledge and skills.

Accordingly, it starts off from the analysis of the strengths and existing resources of each individual.

The playful approach used in this process, in the form of a quiz card game, makes analysis an entertaining and enjoyable experience.  As a result, every individual discovers their ‘Personal Inner Team that represents their strengths, learning and work styles, along with their individual preferences and winning strategies.

The ‘Personal Inner Team’ has 4 ‘members’, each of whom embodies a unique style. To create a successful team, it is essential to recognise and develop each of its members’ individual strengths to the fullest, according to a specific goal in a particular context and situation.

To make personal development and learning lasting and profitable, 5 Learning Steps, the 5 ‘As’ need to be taken:

  • Acquisition of new knowledge in any area.
  • Awareness of oneself, one’s personal goals and the whys, existing knowledge and skills represented by the Personal Inner Team.
  • Accountability for one’s own growth by taking responsibility. Every single person, and nobody else, is responsible for their development.
  • Action as a consequence of a decision in the form of exercise and practice. Making decisions without taking action is nothing but wishful thinking.
  • Application of the newly acquired knowledge in daily business and work life.

The 5 steps can be taken in any order. The more steps the more sustainable the learning process.

To help learners to accomplish all 5 steps and ensure deep learning and personal growth, LearnInProgress® provides them with a comprehensive selection of tools, hands-on tips and hints to make learning easy, fast and enjoyable.

Irrespective of the  services provided – training, coaching or consulting – it must be tailored to the needs of the people involved, and their specific environments. Every environment places different demands on us, and every person has unique skills, strategies and preferences.

The LearnInProgress® methodology takes account of these factors.

Learning games for adults accelerate learning and increase memory by up to 90%. Playing such  games can ease a stressful situation and promote cooperation and creativity. The games we will develop for your organisation will also accelerate the acquisition of practical and conceptual knowledge. By playing these games, your employees can learn to increase the skill level of their tasks by up to 300%.

Thanks to our learning games, your employees will also activate their personal resources and skills. In addition, our games will promote team spirit and strengthen leadership qualities. In our experience, they are particularly suitable in areas where rules and behaviours are to be learned and put into practice. Examples are: quality standards (the Quality Triathlon®), internal company regulations, and health and safety in the workplace. But not only. Soft-skills or more intangible contents like the criteria to measure quality of life or the wellbeing at work make excellent learning contents for game-based learning as well.

On request, I will develop tailor-made learning games based on your specific requirements and topics in collaboration with your SMEs.

Collaborative learning strengthens the sense of belonging, promotes synergy and a shared knowledge base, and increases productivity.

The success of your company in the marketplace depends on how quickly and successfully you react to changing circumstances.

Change always requires learning. In an organisation, this requires a group effort. The success of your company depends on the ability of your staff to share knowledge and skills. An organisation that focuses on learning is better prepared to successfully master challenges, even under adverse circumstances.

Collaborative learning is an ideal choice for increased wellbeing at work, work organisation, workflow optimisation, and continuous improvement processes. This is because collaborative learning strengthens stakeholders’ analytical thinking, problem-solving and cooperation.

Your time and effort must be worthwhile and your investment must give a good return. Flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness are indispensable prerequisites for sustainability, especially in reference to continuing education and training. From my research in adult education, I know that blended learning is often one step ahead of classroom training and e-learning.

Blended learning allows for a flexible approach. It can have different elements that can be chosen depending on your specific needs and the learning content that you choose: online training with a trainer, self-directed learning at your own pace and classroom training. The choice of components depends on your specific requirements and learning content.

In case blended learning is not feasible because you are not able to attend classes, e-learning with a trainer or self-driven e-learning is available to make sure you can learn when and where it suits you best.

Every company needs leaders and managers who are capable of making decisions, taking on responsibility, and inspiring and empowering people to make active contributions. Innovative ideas and people who can constructively transform conflicts into creative, action-oriented alternatives add value to any organisation.

The Betzavta (engl.: together) programme was developed in 1988 by Uki Maroshek-Klarman at the Jerusalem Adam Institute for Democracy and Peace. Betzavta promotes participatory styles of leadership, self-determined action and decision-making.

Betzavta is a method that provides a variety of surprising and life-changing experiences in the shortest  possible time. Its open-ended approach challenges habitual patterns of behaviour to spark increased personal responsibility, flexibility, new perspectives and creative alternatives.

Whoever is involved in project management is familiar with time constraints , costs, scope, quality, resources, organisational capabilities. Projects are difficult to plan, execute, manage, and ultimately turn into success stories.

Scrum offers everything that is needed to deliver results as early in a project as possible. It is adaptive, iterative, fast, flexible and effective. It focuses on a collaborative, cross-functional approach to make sure that each member of self-organised and empowered teams adds value to short and concentrated work cycles.

Scrum is an effective project management methodology designed to deliver significant value quickly and throughout a project, while ensuring transparency in communication and creating an environment where every single member of the team, as well as the team as such, is accountable for the continuous progress and the final outcome.

The Scrum framework supports product and service development in any industry and project, irrespective of its complexity.

Appreciative action-oriented communication ensures good relations and a positive work atmosphere, especially with customers, colleagues and in human resources management. In addition, increased clarity improves efficiency and appreciation,  and can strengthen willingness to cooperate.

Action-oriented, appreciative communication promotes positive personal and organisational development. It accelerates learning processes and significantly reduces the resistance typical of change processes. This can save a lot of time and effort.

Laughter is a healthy expression that comes to children naturally. This is probably why children laugh much more than adults. Laughter helps to create a positive frame of mind and softens tensions. Being able to laugh at oneself helps to escape the tunnel vision typical of stressful situations and leads to increased clarity and energy.

A company where people feel comfortable enough to laugh has a positive influence on everyone and the company image. Happiness is contagious; it creates a sense of community, promotes team spirit, and helps with learning. Happiness clears the way for creativity and innovation.

Laughter yoga is an effective relaxation technique that I employ in my training courses or in my coaching sessions.

The meaning of DO-IN is achieving oneness between the world around us and the world within us.

It is a set of  ancient traditional self-exercises to promote health, longevity, and mental-spiritual development. The Tao of Shin Sen is a way of developing humanity toward its highest possible ability to become free from physical sickness, mental frustration and confusion, as well as intellectual and social delusion and chaos.

The exercises are intuitive and consist in a series of simple and natural motions which are perceived as being part of the movement of the universe.

DO-IN can be practised by everyone and is of great benefit for the health and happiness which naturally contribute to greater well being of each and everyone.

Short work and screen breaks with DO-IN are not only beneficial to health, but improve our overall state of mind and ultimately increase productivity.

Not only do they increase individual and collective wellbeing and the perceived quality of life of every single person, but this wellbeing leads to greater productivity and becomes  the very foundation of high performance.
