Knowing how to solve problems is a very important skill, and not just in business.

This module provides you with a problem-solving methodology to tackle complex problems in a systematic way thus avoiding one of the most common mistakes, namely jumping to hasty conclusions and “trial and error” approaches. These are synonymous with wastefulness and, most importantly, do not solve problems conclusively.

It is important to learn to focus on identifying the root causes of a problem, setting quality goals and using a rational and structured work method. The toolbox provided in this module gives you what you need to solve problems permanently, increase efficiency and effectiveness, and reduce potential conflicts between company and customers.
The method, the PDCA cycle, was developed by William Edwards Deming, and is used to improve processes and products continuously.
